This is my contribution to the “65 Red Roses” project, in which “65 of Canada’s most prestigious artists” were invited to complete a painting of one 8″ x 10″ red rose, which became a mural that now hangs in the Vancouver Children’s Hopsital.

This project is one of many to promote awareness around Cystic Fybrosis, in the memory of Eva Markvoort.  If you have not yet seen the moving documentary about Eva, simply google “65 Red Roses” and view it.  She was a remarkable woman, and I have come to know her family.  Her mother Janet recently passed away.

I will be blogging about this soon.
